Course for senior citizens

The European MELISE project presents the course «Networks and Realities: Media Literacy for Seniors,» a program specifically designed to enhance media literacy skills among older adults.

This innovative, free, multilingual and accessible sMOOC aims to foster critical thinking through a user-tailored experience. Organized into gamified thematic blocks and presented by fictional «agents,» the course tackles key topics such as disinformation, artificial intelligence, opinion formation, audiovisual manipulation, and fact-checking.

The content is delivered through short videos, interactive exercises, and an educational metaverse featuring thematic rooms and live events.
